Dr. Saket Goyal MD DM FACC FSCAI is a renowned heart specialist. During his years in intervention cardiology, he realized that a healthy lifestyle is the only way to prevent heart diseases. The initiative started as a Fb group ‘HeartWise’ which now has 25,000 followers; the encouragement then spilled over to local initiatives like walkathons & marathons, installation of open-gyms for the community, ‘save-a-heart’ CPR training campaign and scores of lifestyle talks. Of special focus in HeartWise has been the schools wherein more than 100 schools and 100,000 students have been initiated towards the thought of a healthy lifestyle thru assembly talks and quiz and drawing competitions.
